Handing Over My Pen

God is officially writing my love story. He is the most romantic, he knows me the best and I trust him completely. I have had some guys in my life..are they the best for me {no} so now I give up the search. The hounds have been called off!

Song of Songs 2:7 "Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires"

I finally finished the book "When God writes your love story" by Eric and Leslie Ludy. It is my favorite book! It has so many things inside of it that make me just go "ohhh,ahhh" It seems to open up my mind and heart to everything. I now always say to myself,  what would my future husband think? I have been praying for my future husband and his days, goals and life plans. I pray he encourages, loves and is a gentleman to everyone. This book is amazing and I recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much to my good friend Dana who gave me this little miracle!

This summer has truly changed my life and my walk with the Lord. I thank everyone who has been with me and encouraging me every step of the way.

So as you know I got my new little camera so I took a stroll through the {woods} I know kind of creepy. But I did make a new necklace, enjoy...

NMB Summer Project 2011

It's Gonna Take Time...

Hello, blog people I know I am the worst person out there and never updated my blog. Hope you can find it in your {hearts} to forgive me. So I got back to Minnesota on the 7th, today is the 10th and I'm going a little crazy. Summer project will always be in my heart and I love all of the people there. I have learned so much to last me a life time and now I am ready to get back to campus and spread the word just like Jesus told us to in Matthew 28:19. So you know how I {love} my photography? well a few of my friends had amazing cameras that I got to borrow, here are a few photos I took of my good friends.

The last couple are getting married in October and it was my first "engagement" photos.

I am working on getting used to being at home with my family but I just love to be independent and on my own. I am newly single, living strong for the Lord and right now he is my boyfriend!

A lot happened this summer, God used me to reach the people of North Myrtle Beach and these memories will be with me forever. Thank you to everyone who supported me and encouraged me.

Enjoy the last few weeks of summer for it will go by quick. xoxo

All Consuming Fire, You're Our Hearts Desire, Living Flame of Love Come Baptize Us

I recently have been the biggest fan of this song, by Misty Edwards. It is so powerful and some how the Holy Spirit grips at my heart every time I listen to these words. Me and my friend Sar looked up a few verses that contained the words "consuming fire" we found Isaiah 30:27 "See the name of the Lord comes from afar, with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke his lips are full of wrath and his tongue is a consuming fire. It is also in Hebrews 12:28-29 "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannont be shaken, let us be thankful and so worship God acceptable with reverence and awe for our "God is a consuming fire."

So blog followers if you couldn't tell but I'M IN MYRTLE BEACH!!! It is so beautiful and the sun is blazing hot. I couldn't imagine having a better summer. I have been here for about 6 days and I am starting to get used to it. I am trying to take it all in and remember everything {because for those who know me I have the worst memory ever} So let me tell you what we have done so far,
  • Gone to the beach
  • Evangelised {to strangers on the beach}
  • Group games {scavenger hunts and signs}
  • Dinners
  • Bible Study
  • Work {at a grocery store, I might add}
I am getting to know all of the people here and they are so easy going and it's amazing because we are all here for the Glory of our Father and we can share that passion together. My Bible Study consists of about 6 girls and we all have crazy personalities, it has been a blast. We started reading the book of Mark written by John Mark. we have read 1:1-15. In Mark, he writes about how the Messiah is coming, people must repent and believe the good news. It is an urgent message to the people, they must make a straight path for the Lord. John is not even worth enough to untie Jesus' sandals he is letting the people know that is how powerful and holy our Lord is. The people living there thought the "king" would save them from the Romans but in reality he was going to save them for eternity. There is so much that we have dissected and studied so far, I pray that whoever I talk to or who reads this will also follow along and read too.

I have shared a few times on the beach as well, this is part of our outreach of Summer Project. We learned how to share our testimony with others and to explain the gospel to them. So far I have talked to about 12 people and it has been a blessing. I love to hear from other people and what they believe.

Today I had a very long day at work, right when I got crabby I prayed about my friends and for this summer. A few minutes later an older lady was wondering the aisles and I asked her if she needed help, she said "No, thank you." She then asked if I was apart of Campus Crusade, I said, yes I am. Apparently she was very involved when it first started at her school in the '50's, she was even on staff. I got to share my testimony with her and how I became a Christian. I just think God is so funny because just yesterday I met with my discipler and she said that it is important to have the story so other people can relate and you can become more relatable. Other people will have sympathy. it was a great experience for me and I soon told all my friends about what happened.

I know this is a very jumpy post but more will soon come, I just wanted to keep all of you up to date and I appreciate the support and prayers. Thank you so much. God is using all of us and I can't wait to tell my story.

{Keep us in your prayers and thanks again for all the support, I promise to keep you updated}

Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
